World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022

22-26May 2022
Davos-Klosters, Switzerland

Overview

The Annual Meeting 2022 will embody the World Economic Forum’s philosophy of collaborative, multistakeholder impact, providing a unique collaborative environment in which to reconnect, share insights, gain fresh perspectives, and build problem-solving communities and initiatives. Against a backdrop of deepening global frictions and fractures, it will be the starting point for a new era of global responsibility and cooperation.

The meeting will bring together nearly 2,500 global leaders to address current challenges during this time of heightened polarization.
More than 50 heads of state and government will be among the 300 government representatives who will share their vision for the world. Over 1,250 leaders from the private sector will be participating, along with nearly 100 Global Innovators and Technology Pioneers – the world’s most promising tech and business start-ups and scale-ups.
More than 200 leaders from NGOs, social enterprises, academia, labour organizations, and faith-based and religious groups will represent civil society and there will be over 400 media leaders and reporting press. The Annual Meeting will also bring together younger generations, with 100 members of the Forum’s Global Shapers and Young Global Leaders communities participating.

Our time together during the week will focus on understanding the current context, developing solutions and building collaborations. As part of the programme, the Forum will be sharing new insights and launching a number of initiatives to foster global and regional cooperation to secure the recovery of the global economy, safeguard the planet, and build healthy and equitable societies.
