Tokyo, Japan

概览

Every four years, the Summer Olympics captures the world?s imagination through record-breaking sporting excellence and international cultural exchange. The games crystalize people?s dreams and aspirations, and offer a window into how youth, health and well-being, creativity and lifestyle can contribute to building an inclusive future. Launching the post-Rio Olympics cycle towards the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the World Forum on Sport and Culture is a global gathering of cultural, sports, business, media and policy leaders hosted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan. The event aims to contribute to building Japan into a vibrant nation with global reach, and to explore the opportunities that the Olympics present for international partnerships and to reach the goals of Japan?s Reform 2020 growth strategy. As a supporter of the meeting, the World Economic Forum proposes a series of interactive sessions to help global leaders learn about and plan for a world of new lifestyles and approaches to health and well-being, changing youth aspirations and new forms of creativity in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Topics will include: ? How can we adapt to the new digital platforms, cultures and lifestyles that are radically changing the behaviours and needs of consumers? ? What can be learned from transformations in the creative industries? ? How can the values of the arts, culture and sport be integrated into governance and help build resilience as we shape the Fourth Industrial Revolution? ? What can be learned from Japan?s mature economy and its integration of education, culture, sports, science and technology?
